I am a freelance science writer in Madison, WI with 10+ years of experience writing, editing, and researching and reviewing content. I have written scientific journal articles, a book chapter, presentations, and college-level test questions.  I have also created science writing pieces for a general audience.  

Additionally, I am an enthusiastic teacher of science with a special interest in communicating biology, microbiology, and public health related topics.

For fun, I enjoy running, biking, team sports and gardening.  I especially like exploring the outdoors with my family and showing my kids how science is all around us!
